Recently our laboratory finished testing on our Sewperior CAC+ product.

It was submerged in a 10% sulphuric acid solution for 6 months before compressive tests were undertaken.

Not only did the product show excellent corrosion resistance, it also retained over 70% of its strength.

A leading competing product showed a large weight decrease and managed to retain only 25% of its compressive strength.

Sewperior CAC+ has also had extensive 3rd party testing undertaken at the University of Sydney.

Si Powders has released a new and exciting product – Plug-it 60. With the development undertaken by specialists, the product has now finished a successful production run.  Designed as an emergency water stop grout, Plug-it 60 gels within one minute to plug any water leakages.

The rapid set mortar is chloride-free and has excellent bond characteristics. Plug-it 60 can be used for plugging concrete segments, pipes, foundations and any general vertical, horizontal and overhead applications.

As well as traditional compression testing, Si Powders will be able to perform flexure, indirect tensile tests and determine the elastic modulus of materials.
